Contract conclusion
With your verbal or written registration by mail, email or phone, a binding
contract exists between you and Cultura Montis. Through the booking, you
acknowledge the general conditions as part of the contract between you and
Cultura Montis.
Terms of payment
Day hikes are to be payed in cash at the beginning of the hike. All other
hikes are to be paid before the commencement of the hike.
Cancellation by costumer
If you can not participate you are asked to give written notion as soon as
possible. In case of cancellation Cultura Montis can charge you the
following fee:

Cancellation by Cultura Montis
If a hike has to be cancelled due to Acts of God, safety concerns, weather
and nature condition paid fees will be returned.
Trip itinerary
Cultura Montis tries to adhere to the trip itinerary, but in causes of force
majeure the guide has the right and responsibility to make changes to any of
the days on the itinerary. Guide’s decisions are final.
Insurances
The participant is not insured by Cultura Montis. You are obliged to insure
that you have sufficient health and accident insurance coverage. We
recommend the membership with REGA.
Appeals
Appeals or damages are to be communicated immediately. The guide will make
every effort, within the confines of the program and the possibilities
available, to remedy the situation. Is there no sufficient remedy or you
whish to make damage claims, these must be received, in writing, within four
weeks of the end of the hiking trip.
Liability
Damage claims against Cultura Montis are excluded, as far as the damage was
not caused by negligence or intentionally.
Applicable Law and Area of Jurisdiction
Swiss Law is exclusively applicable for the contracted relationship. Legal
domicile is Basel.
